Rob first discovered Bitcoin on an online forum in 2012 and bought his first Bitcoins in 2013. Since that discovery in 2012, Rob has completed more than 10,000 hours of research on blockchain technology, cryptography, and consensus protocols. Rob possesses a deep understanding of blockchain technology, its innovations, and its potential pitfalls. 
Early Life & Education
Rob was born in Norfolk, Virginia on July 28, 1993 to parents Marie and Paul Finch. Rob lived in Virginia Beach, Virginia for the first few years of his life before his family relocated to the neighboring city of Norfolk while he was in second grade. 
Rob has become well known in EOS forums and chat rooms as the man behind the "Million Dollar EOS Bet", a YouTube video in which Rob states his belief that the price of 1 EOS token will reach $1,000 by the end of 2018. 
On May 1, 2018, Rob announced his involvement with Cypherglass, a Block Producer candidate for the EOS.IO blockchain network.  As of October 5, 2018, Cypherglass is a Top 21 EOS Block Producer. 
Rob spoke at Token Fest, a prominent blockchain, cryptocurrency, and ICO conference which took place in San Francisco, California on March 15 and 16, 2018 at the Palace of Fine Arts Theater. ICO Alert was one of the main Title Sponsors of Token Fest, along with well known cryptocurrency and blockchain companies such as Ledger, Bloq, Steemit, Qtum, New Alchemy, and Wachsman PR. 
Rob spoke at one of SVK Crypto's events in London on September 19, 2018.  The theme of the event was "The Future of Blockchain" and Rob gave a presentation to make the case that EOS is the future of blockchain.
