Phu Styles (also known as Madame Crypto) is a Vietnamese American blockchain entrepreneur and former celebrity fashion stylist. She is the founder of the Women in Blockchain Foundation, CEO and Head of Influencer & Investor Relations at Blockchain PR, and Venture Partner at Velorum Capital.
She is also the Advisor of Blockchain at University of California, Irvine.
Education
Styles studied Psychology and Cognitive Science at UC Irvine, with a minor in Marketing. She also studied entrepreneurship at The Founder Institute.

Beginning with a background in Psychology and behavioral therapy, Phu Styles transitioned to the fashion / entertainment industry. She worked with celebrities on their outfits for red carpet events, including The Oscars and The Emmys. She has been a wardrobe stylist for several Reality TV shows, including America's Next Top Model , Dancing with the Stars , The Biggest Loser , and Chinese- American Model Competition.
She has also worked with a variety of high-profile personas, from John Paul DeJoria to Sugar Ray Leonard , to Olivia Munn, to Michael McCaul (and his family), to Lady Gaga.

After her stint in the entertainment business, Styles switched to the tech industry.
In 2015, she co-founded VRTUALITY, a virtual reality studio focused on evolving visual effects technology into fully immersive VR experiences.
In 2016, she was a co-organizer for a TED Conference called TedWomen. This annual event brings together a global community of women and men interested in exploring ideas on empowering women and girls to be creators and change-makers.
Along her way into tech, Phu Styles got heavily involved in the blockchain industry. In October 2017, she became Founding Partner, CEO, and Head of Influencer & Investor Relations at Blockchain PR.
In January 2018, she founded the Women in Blockchain Foundation: a nonprofit that aims to encourage women to build and get involved with projects on the blockchain. Their main mission is to get 1 million women in the blockchain industry by 2020.
In May 2018, Styles became Venture Partner for Velorum Capital; she manages all of their blockchain and crypto-related investments.
Since January 2018, Styles has served as an advisor for several blockchain companies.
This includes Blockchain at UC Irvine, where they organize workshops, educational seminars, hackathons, and networking events.
