Peter Comey is the Senior Director of Real estate Operations at DLA Piper LLP in Washington, DC. Peter Comey is the brother of former FBI Director James Comey.

Early Life
Peter Comey was born in Yonkers, New York, Peter Comey grew up in Allendale, New Jersey, the son of Joan and J. Brien Comey. His father worked in corporate real estate and his mother was a computer consultant and homemaker. Comey and the rest of his family is of Irish heritage. Peter Comey attended Northern Highlands Regional High School in Allendale.

According to different sources and reports, he has a mortgage on his house that is owned by his brother James Comey.
Peter Comey bought a $950,000 house in Vienna, Virginia, in June 2008. He needed a $712,500 mortgage from First Savings Mortgage Corporation. [1]
January 31, 2011, James Comey and his wife stepped in to become Private Party lenders.
They granted a mortgage on the house for $711,000.
Financial records suggest that Peter Comey took out two such mortgages from his brother James Comey that day.
He and his brothers were victims of "The Ramsey Rapist" criminal known in the area as a fugitive who had raped two babysitters in the county.
They were not harmed by the perpetrator as they escaped from their window.
Education
He attended Carnegie Mellon University where he received his degree in the study of Architecture. After about a decade where worked different jobs, he attended The George Washington University School of Business where he received his MBA with a focus in Real estate and Urban development.
Career
After his education in the 1980s, he worked in construction until he decided to return to university to finish his education.
From 1999 to 2004, he was the director of Real Estate Development & Construction Services, LLP.
He oversaw the planning and program management consulting and project oversight for federal agency, institutional and private real estate clients.
He was later the executive director of Facilities at George Washington University for three years. He Directed all major university facilities operations, to include 500 employees, 55 professional staff and managers with a $75M annual budget on three (3) GW campuses. Responsible for new design and construction; residential portfolio; planning and budgeting; operations and maintenance.
During the Obama Administration, he worked for Praedium Advisors, LLC and Procon Consulting LLC. He was the Real Estate & Construction Consultant. He was in charge of planning and program management consulting and project oversight for federal agency, institutional and private real estate clients.
He is now the senior director of Real Estate Operations for the Americas for DLA Piper LLP.
He is the Senior Director of Real Estate Operations for the Americas as part of a large international law firm.
Responsible for all offices, leasing, design, construction and operations for 35 offices with more than 2M SF in the Americas.
