Pearl Pinson is a 15 year old Jesse M. Bethel High School student from Vallejo, California which is located in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Kidnapping and Assault

Pearl Pinson was last seen in the Vallejo area on Wednesday May 25, 2016 bleeding and yelling for help as she was dragged away by Fernando Castro an armed man. She currently has turquoise-green hair.

Pearl was last seen at an pedestrian bridge that crosses Interstate 780, near Home Acres and Taylor avenues in Vallejo at about 7 a.m. Witnesses called the police reporting that they heard multiple shots being fired.

A witness reported seeing Pearl Pinson bleeding and screaming for help as Fernando Castro pulled her on the over-crossing. The witnesses also reported that Fernando Castro was carrying a gun and they heard multiple shots fired.

It is believed that Castro and Pearl knew each other, but officers do not believe Pearl went with Castro willingly.

Police issued Amber Alert: LIC/5XZD385 (CA) to help find Pearl on Thursday May 26, 2016.

Police were looking for a gold 1997 four-door Saturn with California license plate 5XZD385 related to the case.

Police have since found the car.

Pearl's kidnapper Fernando Castro shot at police, then drove into a mobile home park in Solvang County. There, he jumped into another vehicle and continued shooting at police, before being fatally shot by return fire. Police are still searching for Pearl Pinson.

Pearl's sister created a Go Fund Me page on May 27, 2016 to help find her.

Description

Pearl is described as white, and has brown hair currently dyed green hair; she was wearing a gray sweater and black leggings at the time of her disappearance. Pearl was carrying a black and turquoise backpack. She has green eyes is 5 foot 3 and weighs 130 lbs.
