Patricia Mojarro is the daughter of Margarita Mojarro, a woman who died when a tree accidentally fell on her as she was taking photographs. ^[1]

On Saturday, the 17th of December, 2016, on the day of her wedding taken place at Penn Park in the city of Whittier, everything was going as planned.

She walked down the aisle with her mother, and exchanged vows with her future husband.

The atmosphere was jovial and celebratory.

Moments later, as the day went into the evening, family and friends took photographs near the park.

Suddenly, a Eucalyptus tree unhinged its roots from the ground and topped several people who stood by taking photographs. Several people were injured, including a child who was taken to intensive care. Unfortunately for her mother, Margarita, she was crushed and died from the impact. ^[0]
