Margarita Mojarro was the mother of a bride who ** moments after the wedding ceremony finished died from being crushed by a Eucalyptus tree in Penn Park, Whittier, California. ^[undefined] She was a mother of four. ^[undefined]

On Saturday the 17th of December, 2016, at around 4:30 p.m., her daughter Patty and her husband held their wedding ceremony at Penn Park in Whittier.

As family members congregated for the ceremony, many photos were being taking.

After the exchange of vows, the family continued their jubilation and celebration outside near the park.

As friends and family got together to more photos outside of the park, a large tree fell on a few people, one of whom included Margarita.

She was killed instantly.

Others were able to get out from underneath the tree, and little girl was taken to intensive care.

Margarita was 61 years old.
