Pablo Miller O.B.E. also known as Antonio Alvarez de Hidalgo is a British consultant for the Trading fund of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO). He is also known as an MI6 agent. Miller currently resides in Salisbury, United Kingdom.
Early life & education
Miller attended Oxford University and graduated in 1982 with a second class degree in Spanish with History Joint Honours in Modern Languages and History. After graduation, Miller attended the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.
Military Career
Miller joined the British Army and served as a member of the Royal Tank Regiment and the Royal Green Jackets serving in Northern Ireland and Brunei. He joined the Foreign and Commonwealth Office in 1990.
Diplomat / MI6 Agent recruiting Russian spies
Miller served as a diplomat in Nigeria, first in Abuja and then in 1992 started in Lagos after which he took a job as first secretary at the British embassy in Estonia in September 1997. Between 2006-09, Miller led a flagship project in Bogota, Colombia countering drugs-related corruption. From 2010 to 2013 he served as a counsellor at the British embassy in Warsaw, Poland. In 2011 he sent a letter to The Spectator praising the British Army.
Russia's Federal Security Service (FSB) have claimed that their former spy Sergey Skripal confessed and identified Miller as his MI6 recruiter in 2004, operating under the false identity of Antonio Alvarez de Idalgo.
Miller is reported to be employed by Orbis Business Intelligence, the same company as Christopher Steele, involved with the Trump Dossier. [1] He was reported to have become friends with Sergei Skripal while living in Salisbury. [1] His LinkedIn profile has been deleted but recorded on the web by Russia News Now and detailed by Wikispooks. [1]
