Maclean Porter (born January 14, 1995), known professionally as Nessly, is an American rapper and singer from Atlanta, Georgia. He is best known for his songsMoon Love,Crying in Codeine, andGiddy Up.

Porter was born in the Flatbush district of Brooklyn. He moved to Georgia at the age of 4, where he was raised and started his music career.

He began to make music at age 12 under the alias “Young Ness”, uploading freestyles and “day in the life” style footage on YouTube. At age 16, Nessly began releasing hisLucid Dreamingmixtape series. After completing high school, he decided not to attend college to pursue his musical career. Porter taught himself to produce, mix, and engineer his music.

After gaining a following, Porter would sell clothing in order to buy Greyhound tickets to perform underground shows in Toronto and New York City. He would soon gain a substantial following on SoundCloud and co-signs from Drake and Pharrell.

Nessly has also been profile in major hip hop blogs such as Complex, Pigeons & Planes, The Fader, and XXL.

In January 2019, a video of Nessly claiming to have auto-tune hardware implanted in his left arm went viral on Social media. The video has been called fake and a publicity stunt.
