Naomi O'Leary

Naomi O'Leary is an Irish journalist based in Brussels as the Europe Correspondent for the Irish Times. She has covered stories from around Europe for publications including Politico, The Atlantic, Huffington Post, and co-hosts the podcast The Irish Passport. [1]

Education

O'Leary graduated from Trinity College Dublin with a Bachelor's degree in English. She later attended the University of Cambridge, receiving a Master of Philosophy.

Career

She is a former correspondent for Reuters in Rome and Agence France-Press in London. Her 2016 documentary “Granite and Chalk” told the little-known story of how Irish rebels were infiltrated by spies ahead of the 1916 Easter Rising.
