Michael Peres (Mikey Peres) is a Canadian-born entrepreneur, software engineer, mathematician and radio host based in Seattle, Washington. He is the owner of web development company Hexa Tiger and web hosting firm Hecto Fox.

Peres is also the author and founder of Breaking 9 To 5, a program that allows individuals and entrepreneurs manage their work and business while traveling full-time.

Peres graduated with a degree in Computer science in Montreal, Canada before completing additional degrees in Mathematics and Jewish studies at Yeshiva University in New York City in 2015.

At age nine, Peres was diagnosed with Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). His condition forced him to develop unorthodox methods of learning and functioning that proved beneficial to his personal and professional life even at present.

Although labelled with learning disabilities in elementary and high school, Peres excelled in sciences, in particular computers and created for himself an enterprise that served his school and community concerning their technological needs.

At 18 years old, Peres went to Israel to learn Jewish studies. He later returned to the United States and completed his computer science degree at age 22 and his mathematics degree and Jewish studies at age 25.

Peres built Hexa Tiger and Hecto Fox in 2015 after completing his mathematics degree. These companies have already served over 400 clients in just three years of operation.

As founder of the Breaking 9 To 5 program, Peres is leading other entrepreneurs to a lifestyle free of the regular 8-hour office routine.

With the program’s 10 step guide, individuals can manage their work and business while enjoying the benefits of travel.

In 2018, Peres began releasing online resource folders for GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test) that he compiled in collaboration with Ariana Desiree Thacker.

The resources file immediately became viral with thousands of interested individuals, including aspiring MBA (Masters in Business Administration) students, requesting access through email daily.

Today, these folders have already helped 120,000 people and the number even continues to grow.

Apart from the GMAT resource files, Peres is also giving access to MBA Summaries compiled with the help of Lucas Miller, as well as resource folders on the best credit card to use when traveling he listed with the help of Julien Bortz.

Peres is also active in hosting his science, technology and entrepreneurship podcast aside from giving free business consultation and mentoring students of STEM-related fields.
