Meghan Kluth (born December 26, 1989) is an American sports and entertainment reporter for ABC. She is also host of Comcast Network’s "Battle of the Fans, " anchors fashion segments for DivaMall TV, and hosts weekly videos for WGN’s new station 87.7 FM "The Game " with athletes, fans, and a cast of popular Chicago sport commentators. Meghan reports on all trending sports and entertainment, and has covered high profile events from the Stanley Cup Finals to red carpets to the Sundance Film Festival. She resides in Chicago.
Early Life & Education
Meghan was raised in Chicago, where she attended Walter Payton College Prep high school, named after one of her childhood heroes. She was a nationally ranked competitive figure skater for 15 years.
Meghan earned a Bachelor's degree in Communications from Boston University where she worked on BUTV’s only sports talk show "Terrier Nation" and interned at the local CBS affiliate, WBZ.
Career
At the age of 23, Meghan worked for the Chicago Sun-Times in partnership with ChicagoSideSports.com, hosting her own series "Meghan @" and "On the Love Seat With Meghan Kluth" conducting interviews with prominent Chicago athletes and fans. The interviews were known for their comedic twist.
Personal Life
She attributes her love of sports to her hockey-playing father who once flew her home from college to watch the Chicago Blackhawks in game 5 of their 2010 Stanley Cup championship run, and took her to Chicago Cubs spring training for many years as a child, quizzing her nightly on the roster.
