Matt Mingay is a professional stunt motorcycle, car, and truck driver r and entertainer from Australia. Matt has been the owner and director of the company Stuntz Inc since 2014. Matt has been performing full time as a Stuntrider since 1998 and Drifting since 2003.
Achievements
Matt Mingay alone performs in front of more than 2.2 million people and performs in more than 35 events every year. Matt has achieved three Guinness World Records. Matt Mingay has performed in countries across the world and has also been voted best on track motorsport entertainment Australia wide 6 years running (AC Nelsons survey).
Matt is the Official Stuntrider for V8 Supercars and the Australian Superbike Series.
Matt also performs at Moto-Gp,Indy, Formula 1 (F1), Drags and many others.
Matt is also hired as a Stunt double for many movies and commercials including Mission Impossible 2 and Bollywood films.
2016 Crash
Matt Mingay crashed in a race flipping over his truck and shearing the roof off on the opening lap of a Super Stadium Truck (SST) series race.
The race was called the SPEED Energy Stadium Truck series and took place in Detroit, Michigan on Saturday June 4, 2016. [1]
Matt was taken to the hospital suffered facial injuries and was taken to the hospital by ambulance in critical condition but his condition was upgraded to serious.
After the crash the race was called off.
