Martine Powers is an American journalist based in Washington, D.C. Martine Powers is a reporter at The Washington Post, covering transportation issues. [1]

Education

Martine Powers graduated from Yale University in 2011 with a Bachelor's degree in African American Studies.

Career

Prior to joining The Washington Post in July 2016, she worked at the Boston Globe and Politico. She also spent a year reporting on traffic and congestion as a Fulbright fellow in Trinidad & Tobago. Powers is also an audio producer and a graduate of the Transom Story Workshop for audio journalism.
