Marc Vetri attended Drexel University - College of Business and Administration, earning a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Finance.
Career
Marc Vetri founded Vetri Cucina back in 1998 and later in 2007 began expanding, opening up Osteria, Amis, Alla Spina, Pizzeria Vetri, and Lo Spiedo (which later became Bar Amis).
By 2015 he had sold all of the restaurants to Urban Outfitters. [9]
In addition to his storied career in the kitchen, Marc is also the driving force behind the Vetri Foundation for Children, a non-profit, charitable organization whose mission is to help kids experience the connection between healthy eating and healthy living. Vetri has written the cookbooks "Rustic Italian Food" and "Il Viaggio Di Vetri: A Culinary Journey". [1][7]
