She was born on November 25, 1994 as Delanie Frances Wheeler in Nashville, Tennessee. She is the youngest child in a family of four as she has two older sisters as well as an older brother. Unfortunately she lost one of her sisters Amanda on the 9th of March 2018. She took to her social media pages to post condolences to her but she didn’t make it known the cause of her sister’s death.
Luna Lanie also lost her dad as her sister death was the second death she experienced in her family.

After a tragic accident that happened while she was in her freshmen year in college she had to take a medical leave of absence from college and during that time she was introduced to cosplaying.
She fell in love with the art and began pursuing it for a living, traveling around the nation to attend Convention. She came into the arena in the early 2017 and is now one of the most prominent faces in the industry alongside Elise Laurenne, her favorite cosplayer Jessica Nigri, and Olivia Black.
Luna quit cosplaying after getting into a lot of controversy.
One was in 2015 when she claimed that she was sexually harassed by the attendees of MomoCon convention and had to go through the same thing in DC Comics SDCC cosplay contest.
In 2017 she started focusing on becoming a serious actress and has also become more involved in dance, and script writing.
She has acted in TV shows like Nashville, Good Behavior (TV series), Billions, and The Good Cop. She has also acted in Adam Sandler and Chris Rock‘s film The Week Of (2018) where she was casted as the role of a stripper.
