Luke Savage is a writer and blogger based in Toronto.
Education
Luke Savage was Editor-in-Chief of Canada’s largest student newspaper.
From 2012-2013 Savage was a Masters student at the University of Toronto, where he studied ancient and modern political theory and the political economy of industrial societies.
Political Career
Savage worked as a political staffer at Queen’s Park and for a federal Member of Parliament.
He was a candidate for the Ontario New Democratic Party in the 2014 provincial election.
Journalism Career
Savage writes about Canadian and international politics, religion, labour issues, philosophy, and the history of the democratic left.
Savage is known for his writing in Jacobin Magazine and Current Affairs Magazine, as well as his work on CBC Radio. He hosts a semi-weekly podcast about agitprop cinema.
