Lucas Pellan (born on June 30, 1992) [undefined] is an entrepreneur, business executive. He is the co-founder and COO of Sonder, an online marketplace aimed to help people book apartments or homes that upkeep the standards of a hotel experience for cheaper prices.

Early Life & Education

Pellan was born and raised in Quebec. He attended Royal West Academy. [1] After attending the boarding school, he enrolled in university. However, he dropped out to start working on his new company full-time. [undefined]

Sonder

In January 2014, Pellan and his co-founder Francis Davidson started Sonder. Formerly known as Flatbook, the platform works similar to Airbnb in that it provides people with options to rent out residential spaces. Their unique selling point is based on the standards they uphold. For example, they rent out entire floors or entire apartment buildings and turn them into rentable apartments for travelers and short-term stays. [undefined]

Since starting the business, Sonder has raised over $46 million from venture capitalists.
