Lauren D'Andria Williams is the executive assistant of her sister Porsha Williams, who stars in The Real Housewives of Atlanta. She's also co-owner and supervisor of NAKED virgin hair, Porsha's hair extension line. [2]
Personal Life
Lauren grew up in Atlanta, Georgia with her father Hosea Williams II, sister Porsha Williams and brother Hosea. She has a daughter named Baleigh who was born in 2015 and has a large extended family. Lauren has been known to attend "mommy and me yoga classes" with Baleigh and friends Latasha Wright and Shamea Morton. She is very close to her sister and and enjoys being business partners with her own flesh and blood: [3] [10]
"My sister and I are extremely close … We are now best friends and pretty much inseparable.
When Porsha leaves Georgia for bookings and press runs, I go with her so a lot of our bonding time is spent traveling.
We also started a hair company together!

In an interview with baronesscountess Lauren admits that she's extra loquacious and likes to talk about almost anything.
A random conversation with her might span across religion, race relations, partying, dance, sociology, friends, family, business, relationships and anything else that comes to mind. She also feels that she can overanalyze things because her mind races a lot. She is a Christian. [5]
Grandfather Hosea Williams
Her grandfather, Hosea Lorenzo Williams, was an American civil rights leader and trusted member of Martin Luther King Jr..'s inner circle. Boulevard Drive in the southeastern area of Atlanta was renamed Hosea L Williams Drive not long before he died. Williams was portrayed by Wendell Pierce in the 2014 film Selma. [8]
His mother died during childbirth and he was ran out of town by a lynch mob at the age of 13 when he was seen consorting with a white girl. He served during WW2 under General George S. Patton, Jr. and advanced to the rank of Staff Sergeant. Hosea was the sole survivor of a Nazi bombing for which he received a Purple Heart. Hosea spent more than a year recuperating from his wounds in a European hospital. [8]
When he returned from the war, Hosea was still wearing his uniform when he was ambushed and nearly beaten to death for drinking at a fountain that was labeled "whites only".
He spent another month recovering in the hospital for his wounds.
He is quoted as saying the experience helped draw him towards activism:[8]
"I was deemed 100 percent disable d by the military and required a cane to walk. My wounds had earned me a Purple Heart. The war had just ended and I was still in my uniform for god's sake! But on my way home, to the brink of death, they beat me like a common dog. The very same people whose freedoms and liberties I had fought and suffered to secure in the horrors of war...they beat me like a dog...merely because I wanted a drink of water. I had watched my best buddies tortured, murdered, and bodies blown to pieces. The French battlefields had literally been stained with my blood and fertilized with the rot of my loins. So at that moment, I truly felt as if I had fought on the wrong side. Then, and not until then, did I realize why God, time after time, had taken me to death's door, then spared my life...to be a general in the war for human rights and personal dignity."
Hosea went on to attend college at Morris Brown College and Atlanta University, ultimately earning a bachelor's and masters degree in Chemistry. He ended up working as a research scientist at the United States Department of Agriculture.
Fashion Style and Beauty Regiment
In an interview, Lauren shared her skincare regiment: [5]
"I exfoliate twice a week with the pink bubbly Neutrogena face wash and then I wash everyday with a gentle face wash like Philosophy's Purity and moisturize with Philosophy's Hope in Jar. I don't get facials much but they help a lot when I get the time."
She went on to explain the she had always dressed in a uniform growing up, so she never developed an attachment to a particular style.
She likes to dress in vibrant or comfortable clothing that makes her happy.
She's a fan of simple things like Chuck Taylors and beanies or Ralph Lauren boots and a Polo shirt. [5]
Career and Aspirations
Lauren Williams is her sister Porsha Williams' executive assistant. She's also co-owner and supervisor of NAKED virgin hair, Porsha's hair extension line. Dancing is Lauren's favorite hobby and she is skilled in ballet, jazz, salsa, zumba, hip hop and several other styles. She is a frequent visitor at club MJQ Concourse in Atlanta. Williams has shared that she would like to open a dance school, model, and, at some point, move overseas.[5]

Independent pseudonymous blogger Jacky Jasper who runs the hollywoodstreetking blog accused Porsha and Lauren of flying to Nigeria to perform oral sex on billionaire Bashorun Jide Omokore for cash and gifts. The article suggests that the billionaire wired Porsha $500,000 to buy a new Rolls Royce and cut her off shortly afterwards. [6][7]
