Early Life
Lauren Lowe was born as Lauren Dropla to popular businessman Frank Dropla and Gwen Dropla.
She is the granddaughter of Billie Nelson of Elgin.
Her family is from Columbia, South Carolina. Her exact birth date and birth place are unknown, but she is around 29 years old. [2]
Education
She completed her school education from A.C. Flora High School in 2009 and then graduated from Coker College in 2011. [3]
Career
Not much information available about her early career after graduation, but she worked at a retail store in Beaufort, South Carolina which was owned by Jeff Lowe.[3] She was employed as a Zoo Keeper at Greater Wynnewood Exotic Animal Park (also referred to as the G.W. Zoo), Wynnewood, Oklahoma which was owned by Joe "Exotic" Schreibvogel at that time. She helped her husband Jeff Lowe to take down Joe Exotic. Joe Exotic was convicted of attempting to hire someone to murder Carole Baskin among other animal abuse charges. He was sentenced jail for 22 years. Couple Jeff and Lauren reopened Zoo in 2018 and they are now co-owner of it. [4]
Jeff and Lauren decided to open a new zoo and shift all the animals at G.W zoo.
They worked on a new zoo is called as Oklahoma Zoo and was set to open in summer 2020 after delay, but the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak in the world and particularly in the United States affected their plans. Oklahoma Zoo is located at Thackerville, Oklahoma, behind the WinStar World Casino. [1][5]
Personal & Marital Life
Lauren lives in Las Vegas. Lauren and Jeff dated for a long time and they decided to marry because and they have the same interests like music and wildlife. Jeff proposed to Lauren in Las Vegas in front of all the lights on the Strip. They announced engagement on February 11, 2017 and got married on July 4 in an outdoor ceremony at the MGM Grand Las Vegas. [15] The couple welcomed a daughter into their lives.[5]
