Landon Astor Dowdy is an American former model turned journalist based in New York, New York. She is a general assignment reporter at CNBC focusing on personal finance and millennials in the workplace. She appears daily on CNBC's Worldwide Exchange. ^[1]

Landon Dowdy attended High Point Central High School in High Point, North Carolina, graduating in the class of 2011. Upon graduating from high school, she went on to attend the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 2011 - 2014, where she graduated with honors with a bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism. ^[1]

While in college, Dowdy was a John Robert Bittner scholar and finished first place in the national Hearst Journalism Awards.

Dowdy also attended the honors program at the University of Oxford in 2012. ^[1]

Dowdy first interned at CNBC from May 2013 - August 2013.

She also host the CNBC digital series Young Money and Morning Report.
