Milo Protest
On May 31st, 2016, Milo Yiannopoulos had an event at UCLA entitled, "Feminism is Cancer", as part of his University campus tour around the country called, "Faggot Tour". The event was sponsored by Bruin Republicans: a right-wing campus group. The talk was a conversation between Milo Yiannopoulos and Dave Rubin.
A few of the University's social justice groups protested outside prior to the event - some wore duct tape on their mouths holding signs.
Kyra Morling and a few of her colleagues sneaked inside the event. Dave Rubin eased up the conversation with Milo Yiannopoulos. Moments later, the conversation became tense when Milo shared details about his experience of dealing with Gawker, and went on to make subversive comments regarding how their African-American readers are a group of "People who's only marketable skill is being black".
After brief laughter from the audience, Kyra and her associate then stood up and interrupted the conversation by yelling, "you're spreading hate!", which caused booing and an uproar from the supporters in the audience.
Kyra walked down the aisle portraying amusement to the audience, and was escorted back to her seat.
Milo responded to Kyra's comments stating: "No one is buying what you're selling anymore," and proceeded to say: "If you go down two blocks I am sure you'll find an ice-cream truck... while the trash carries itself out, let's carry on"
He went on to call her an ugly person on his twitter.
