Disappearance

On August 22, 2016, Kyle and Scott Adamson went missing after they began their ascent of the 7,285-metre (23,900-foot) Ogre-II peak off the Choktoi Glacier in the Gilgit-Baltistan region of Pakistan.

Early on Sunday, August 21, Kyle Dempster and Scott Adamson started up the North Face of the Ogre II, just off the Choktoi Glacier in Northern Pakistan.

They planned on five days for the climb and descent.

On September 3, 2016, after a nearly 2 weeks, the search was called off for the missing alpinists.
