Katie Donnelly (born June 25, 2004) is a Level nine gymnast as well as swimmer, coral girl, cheerleader and a YouTuber whose vlogs can be seen on her family channel, It's The Donnellys, which has earned over 1 million subscribers. She was a level 7 State Champion gymnast in all around, bars, beam and floor in 2016 before turning to cheerleading.[1]
Family and Personal Life
Katie Donnelly was born on June 25, 2004 in Maryland, USA, to Jill and Mike Donnelly. Both her parents are popular YouTubers and part of their family channel ‘It's The Donnellys’. She has a younger brother named Ryan and an elder brother named Brennan, both of whom often feature in their family YouTube channel. The former also has a solo channel called ‘Ryan in the WILD’ while the latter is a water polo athlete and baseball player.
Career
Katie Donnelly became a YouTuber with her original Flippin' Katie channel in May of 2015 and accumulated over 100,000 subscribers in just three short months. The channel’s initial videos were on gymnastics and showcased her talent as a passionate gymnast. With time, she began featuring in vlogs alongside her brothers. As her videos began getting more popular, Katie Donnelly (YouTube Star) expanded her repertoire and started creating varied content on themes, such as road trips, shopping sprees, food challenges, water adventures, and so on.
Motivated by the rapid growth of the channel, her parents also began featuring in her vlogs and her channel transitioned to a family vlogging channel and was renamed as 'It's The Donnellys'. The family vlogs were much loved by the viewers and gave the channel a major boost. Today, the channel has already crossed a million subscribers and has garnered more than 321 million views.[5]
