Kathleen Breitman is the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Tezos, a decentralized cryptocurrency. She resides in Mountain View, California with her husband, Arthur Breitman.
Education
Breitman is originally from New Jersey. She is a graduate of Immaculate Heart Academy and also attended New York University. She attended Cornell University and graduated in 2012.
Career

In college, she was a Robert L. Bartley Fellow for The Wall Street Journal. She has held a variety of positions in different firms including Bridgewater Associates, De Dicto, and Accenture. Kathleen has extensive knowledge in Blockchain Technology and in 2014 alongside her husband released the white paper for Tezos. They officially launched the project in October of 2016 and have the backing of major investors such as Tim Draper.
Personal Life
Kathleen Breitman grew up in northern New Jersey. She is the daughter of a Bronx-raised contractor and an Irish elementary-school teacher. She enjoys golfing.
Kathleen is married to Arthur Breitman, her partner in business and life. He proposed at the Place de la Concorde in France. Their serendipitous meeting was recounted in a Wired article titled "Inside The World's Biggest Crypto Scandal". Arthur had invited her to a monthly luncheon for classical liberals, which was actually for anarcho-capitalists. Kathleen didn't mind being misled because they hit it off so well. At one point she told him that she admired Milton Friedman and Arthur was happy to share that he was friends with Friedman’s grandson, Patri.[7]
