Arthur was born and raised in France. He received a Master's in Mathematics from New York University in 2007. [1]

Arthur was an Associate and Goldman Sachs and later Vice President at Morgan Stanley. He left in 2016 to lead the Tezos Project, a cryptocurrency aimed at solving the problem of governance within the blockchain. [1]
