Julie won Conservative Political Action Council (CPAC)’s Blogbash Video of the Year in 2014 for her video debunking Obamacare. She was also rewarded Tea Party Blogger of the Year at CPAC 2013 after creating a viral video.

Julie graduated Magna Cum Laude from Frostburg State University in Frostburg, Maryland in May 2010 with a Bachelor's degree in Political science and a Minor (academic) in International studies. During college she interned at the Center for Competitive Politics in 2009 and the Americans for Tax Reform in 2010. She served as the Vice President and Treasurer of her college’s Maryland Student Legislature delegation. In 2015, she was selected to be on the Board of Advisors for the Maryland Student Legislature. ^[1]
