Career
He joined POLITICO in April 2016, and was senior night editor for POLITICO Pro during the 2016 campaign, editing across policy verticals and anchoring the Morning Agriculture and Morning Technology newsletters.
He edited Pro’s Transition 2017 newsletter before taking on his current assignment.
Prior to moving to Washington, D.C. to begin his POLITICO life, John worked at the New York Daily News for a decade, serving stints as breaking news editor, night editor, transit editor, morning assignment editor, deputy political editor and associate editor. Before turning to editing, he reported on crime, working out of the paper’s NYPD headquarters bureau. [1]
