His father is the late actor and comedian John Witherspoon (actor) while his mother is actress Angela Robinson-Witherspoon. He has a younger brother named Alexander Witherspoon.
His father is known for his role in the series and films like ‘The Friday Series’, ‘Hollywood Shuffle’, and ‘Vampire in Brooklyn’. Further, his mother has worked in projects like ‘One Down, Two to Go’.

He started his career out in acting and comedy.
