Joey Krug is the Co-Chief Investment Officer at Pantera Capital and Co-Founder of Augur. ^[1] He is based in San Francisco.

Krug hails from Knoxville, Illinois and started programming with Applesoft BASIC after buying an Apple II GS on eBay. ^[1] While attending Knoxville High School, he soldered together an Apple I replica and programmed it in Apple I BASIC. ^[1]

Krug graduated in 2013 where he was the valedictorian of his class. ^[1] He briefly attended Pomona College and studied computer science before dropping out in 2014. ^[1]

After leaving college, Krug was a Game Developer at Dark Paradise Studios where made mobile games such as Paper Flyer.

Since August 2014, Krug helped co-found Augur, a prediction market within a decentralized platform, and was part of the core development team.

He is still a member of the Augur team.
