Yasmeen Drummond is an entrepreneur and blockchain enthusiast based in San Francisco, California. [1] She is the founder of Blockchain organizations in the San Francisco Bay Area including Women in Blockchain and Team Block Society.
Education
Drummond attended the University of California, Berkeley where she earned a BA in public health in 2007. She later earned an MBA in 2018.
Career
For seven years, Drummond was a Regulatory and Operations Manager for the California Department of Public Health.
From 2014 to 2017, she was a Consultant for public health startups and in October 2017 she became a Co-Founder of the early stage health venture fund Halo VC.
Active in the cryptocurrency space, Drummond went on to found two blockchain related organizations in the San Francisco Bay Area, Team Block Society and Women in Blockchain.
Drummond is invest in Ethereum and Icon and plans to use her earnings to give back to the community.
