Jody Maguire Warner is an American Attorney who made headlines after she berated and verbally assaulted her Uber driver, Shaun Platt. ^[1]

Jody has lived in the state of Texas for several years. She currently lives in the city of Dallas where she has worked for about 7 years during which she eventually worked

in the District attorney's office where she worked as a government lawyer.

While working as an attorney, she was involved in an annual fundraiser where a game of flag football takes place between two teams, blondes vs. brunettes.

The group has raised more than a total sum of $2.3 million dollars in the last couple of years.

The money goes to UT Southwestern, UTD Center for Brain Health and the Baylor AT&T Memory Center.

Jody attended and graduated from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. She received her Juris Doctor.

After graduating from University, she moved to Dallas where she started working for the District Attorney's office. She is no longer a part of the firm. She was a part of the crime against children unit.

On late Friday evening, November 10th, 2017, as Jody left Capitol Pub located in the Old East part of town in Dallas, she ordered an Uber and her driver Shaun Platt arrived. At some point during the drive, Jody asked to turned off the GPS and started giving directions to Platt. According to Platt, Jody appeared to be heavily intoxicated while giving directions. The situation turned bad when Platt discovered that they were lost.

When Platt suggested routes, Jody would not answer.

She then said, "You can follow

the Fucking GPS", and from then on she became increasingly irritable and began to berate Platt.

After some time, Platt decided to pull over and asked her to get out of the car at which point she started to threaten him.

Plat then called the police who came and took her home.

Jody has since lost her job in the DA's office due to the incident.
