Jess was born in Australia and grew up in Brisbane. ^[5]She was raised by a musical family with her older sister, younger brother, and father all sang and played instruments. ^[5]Her family would film her making up magic shows and cooking shows. Jess’s first viral video was of her little brother banging on the oven and her father playing the trombone which received millions of views. ^[5]After that success, she was motivated to post videos of herself playing cover songs.
