Ed Sheeran was born in Hebden Bridge, a market town in Calderdale near Halifax, West Yorkshire. His family moved to Framlingham in Suffolk when he was a child. ^[undefined]

Although they settled in Suffolk, his parents' work usually took them to London.

As a result, Sheeran spent many weekends travelling with his family.

In 2007, at the age of 16, he dropped out of high school to pursue a career in music.

He moved to London the following year, where he would play in small venues.
