Irvin Noak is a retired New York City Police Department detective. Irvin worked for the NYPD for 27 years from 1982 to 2009, when he retired as a North Manhattan, New York detective.

He has three adult songs.

Two of his sons Aaron Noak and Irvin Noak III live with him in his home in the village of Bellport in Long Island, New York at 1906 Fox Glove Circle. He has another who currently works as a police officer with the NYPD.

Irvin Noak attended John Jay College of Criminal Justice for college. He previously attended John Jay High School. ^[1]

On August 14, 2016, Irvin shot his sons Aaron Noak and Irvin Noak III before killing himself during an argument at his home in Bellport.

Irvin was arguing with his relatives, when his sons intervened.

After his sons got involved in the argument, Irvin went to his bedroom to get a handgun which he used to shoot Aaron and Irvin Noak III. He then shot himself in the head with to commit suicide.

The shooting occurred at around 11 p.m.

Irvin was rushed to Brookhaven Memorial Hospital Medical Center Brookhaven Memorial Hospital Medical Center in E East Patchogue, New York where he was pronounced dead.

Aaron and Irvin Noak III were rushed to the same hospital and are both in critical condition.

Suffolk County Police Department has not said what caused the argument.
