Hung Vanngo is a Make-up artist based in New York City. His style has earned him the name the "Master of Sexiness."
Early Life
Vanngo was born in Vietnam and when he was six he moved to Thailand as a Refugee. After living in a refugee camp for 3 years and moved to Calgary where he spent the rest of his childhood and teenage years. He originally wanted to be a Hair stylist and went to trade school for the profession but did not graduate. Vanngo ended up working at a salon in Calgary where he worked with hair and make-up and realized that he preferred to work with the later. He started going to test shoots in the city and later moved to New York City. Since he did not have a visa to stay long, he moved to Toronto to build up his portfolio. He then moved back to New York in 2006 on an O-1 Visa where he made himself known in the make-up world. [1]

Vanngo's first big break came from working a shoot at Shop Etc magazine with Amy Keller.
A pivotal moment in his career was being noticed by photographer Helena Christensen who was impressed by his work and hired him to do three magazine covers. There, a snowball effect occurred and he became a highly sought-after make-up artist. Vanngo's work has appeared on over 500 magazines and boasts an impressive list of clientele including Selena Gomez, Emily Ratajkowski, Chrissy Teigen, and Julianne Moore.
Style
Vanngo has a "less is more" philosophy when it comes to applying make-up to his clients.
Vanngo prefers simplicity and having a natural look rather than apply a lot of make-up.

Vanngo has built up a massive following on social media with 481,000 followers on Instagram and over 14,000 followers on Twitter. His Instagram account helped Vanngo advance his career dramatically and has received calls to do shoots from all over the world due to the exposure social media gives him.
