Early Life
Pecheux was born and raised in Burgandy. His father was a farmer and a winemaker and Pecheux used to help his father in the fields. He used to help his mother out in the kitchen and aspired to be a Pastry chef.
Culinary Career
After attending pastry school for three years, Pecheaux moved to Paris to become a pastry's assistant and a prominent hotel. While living in Paris, Pecheux patronized the nightlife frequently, going to establishments such as Palazzo and the Studio 54 of Paris and "trying everything." His lifestyle resulted in a stint the hospital, which caused Pecheux to re-evaluate his life.
Make-Up Artistry and Success
At one point, Pecheux was dating a girl who was in make-up school.
Interested, Pecheux looked into it more and later admitted to his parents that he quit his job, is gay, and wanted to become a make-up artist. Pecheux has built up an impressive career as a Make-up artist, crediting his success to his drive and work-ethic. His career path led him at on point to become the creative director of Estée Lauder and Shiseido. He has worked with companies like Chanel, Balmain, Lanvin and Emilio Pucci on their runway campaigns. In 2017, Pecheux became the global brand director for Yves Saint Laurent. Pecheux has a growing following on social media with 2,000 followers on Twitter and 126,000 followers on Instagram.
