Heather Caygle is an American journalist based in Washington, D.C. Heather Caygle is a reporter at POLITICO. [1]

Education

Heather Caygle received a Bachelor of Arts in public relations from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2011, graduating with a 4.0 GPA. While there, she worked as news editor for University of Alabama at Birmingham’s student paper, the Kaleidoscope.

In 2012, she received a master's degree in journalism from American University.

Career

Prior to joining POLITICO, Caygle was a congressional reporter for Bloomberg BNA, primarily covering transportation but also covering action on tax reform, agriculture, appropriations and the Postal Service.

Her work has also been featured on the The Washington Post and WAMU.
