Grit Daily or Grit Daily News (GD) is a New York based, global online news website that prioritizes journalistic ethics and standards and covers exclusive news on brands, technology, fashion, entertainment, entrepreneurship and life.[22]
Grit Daily was founded in 2018 by entrepreneur and journalist Jordan French and has featured at conferences and events such as Collision, Webit, The Next Web, Consumer Electronics Show, BlockShow Americas, Web Summit, Sundance Film Festival and South by Southwest. Grit Daily's 2020 and 2021 live events have been severely restricted by the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, as reported by Forbes.[19]
The Grit Daily team of over two hundred columnists and editors with years of combined reporting experience. Managing Editor Julia Sachs heads a team of writers that includes Olivia Smith, Lexi Jones, Yelena Mandenberg, Jack Giroux, Katherine Stinson, Sarah Marshall and Justin Shamlou.[19] Alongside French, Contributions Editor, Peter Page, manages a strong and diverse team with legal and technical expertise not offered by many anchors from larger outlets.
