Ghattas Khoury (born in 1952) is a Lebanese surgeon and politician who is currently the Minister of culture at the Ministry of Culture since 2016.
Biography After studying in Madrid and Great Britain, he became professor of surgery at the American University of Beirut.
In 2000, he was president of the Order of Physicians of Lebanon when he was elected Maronites deputy of Beirut on the list of the former Prime Minister Rafic Hariri.
[4] [6] He was one of Hariri's closest personalities and one of the pillars of the Future Movement.
[6]His name was also cited as a replacement for the President of Lebanon.
[7] Khoury is now one of Saad Hariri's closest advisers and a spokesman for the March 14th forces.
