George Oliphant is the popular Emmy Award-winning host of NBC's George to the Rescue, a weekly national home improvement show. George and his Team of contractors and interior designers Travel the Nation rescuing the homes of deserving people. ^[6]

In 2000, George received a B.A. in film studies from University of Colorado Boulder.^[7] in the united state of america.

George Oliphant started out his Career as a touring children's theatre Actor. He quickly transitioned to become the host of Nickelodeon's Nick GaS. From then on, he worked as a VJ for various MTV shows. ^[7]

After working as a VJ, he landed jobs for NBC as a host, one of them being, Open House to the rescue, which then turned to George to the Rescue. The show began in New York and is now a part of all NBC stations across the map. ^[7]

As of January 2020, George has about 3,000 followers on his georgeoliphant Instagram account. There he posts Work and travel photos as well as photos with friends and Family. He also has about 3,000 followers on his georgeoliphant Twitter account. He uses it mostly for advertising new episodes of his show and share Instagram posts.^[3][5]

He is the Father of three boys and a girl. ^[9]

He is also a resident of Montclair, where he is restoring the English Tudor home on Ingleside Road purchased by his grandparents in 1942. ^[9]
