Although he was active on Social Media, he did not become well known until he started using Vine and garnered 500,000 followers on the Platform. [1] He collaborated with many prominent Viners, including Matthew Espinosa, KMAC, the Dolan twins, Anwar Jibawi, and Amanda Cerny. Janko launched his YouTube channel in September of 2016. His most popular videos include "WHERE'S THE LOVE" FOR LOGAN PAUL & JAKE PAUL", "REACTION TO LOGAN PAUL'S DISS TRACK !!!", and "REACTION TO JAKE PAUL'S DISS TRACK !!!" The topics of his uploads include personal vlogs, reaction videos, and music releases.
Film Acting
In 2020, Janko played Dash in horror film Follow Me, which focuses on a social media star who travels to Moscow with his friends to capture new content for his successful vlog.
However, the group enters a deadly game, and the line between real life and social media is blurred.
Follow Me also stars Keegan Allen, who portrayed Toby Cavanaugh in Pretty Little Liars, along with Holland Roden, Ronen Rubinstein, Denzel Whitaker, Pasha Lynchnikoff, Siya, Daniyar and Dimiter D. Marinov.
As Janko told Student Edge, acting in his first movie was incredibly nerve-wracking.:
"I’ve counted on my hands the number of times I’ve actually been nervous in real life, and I can tell you it’s about three times."
"I’m not a nervous guy, but I went into this thing and all of these guys are real actors.
I sat there and I was like, 'Oh, this is a big room.' But those people made the set feel so nice and homely that I always felt like I belonged there."
Controversy
In August 2020, Janko appeared in Logan Paul's Impaulsive Podcast episode 206, which come under criticism after the two got into a debate about Christian values. It came to a head with a hypothetical regarding Hitler and the potential of killing him if he came back to life. “Some guy was going back and he said ‘do you forgive everybody’ and I said ‘absolutely 100%.' He goes ‘Hitler comes back to life, you have a chance to kill him right now, do you kill him?’ I go ‘No'," Janko explained.[24]
“Hitler at the end of the day was such a powerful Speaker, so motivating and so Strong in this situation. When I look at this man, or anybody like this man, I don’t just look at his flesh — there’s demons behind him, and I’m not trying to cast him out, I’m trying to kill the situation that’s making him evil.”[24]
The comments were met with laughter from Logan Paul, who was taken aback by how “ludicrous” they were Many. fans downvoted the video and voiced their disappointment in Paul’s “disrespectful” reply. Logan Paul addressed the backlash on the next episode of Impaulsive Podcast, where he said the Podcast was a place to debate. Paul believes that while he considers Janko a great friend, he will point out how “insane” his Opinion was.[24]
