On June 11, 2017, the bodies of Suzanne Taylor, Taylor Pifer, and Kylie Pifer were found dead inside Taylor’s 11489 Ridge Road in North Royalton, Ohio. They were discovered by Taylor Pifer’s boyfriend, who called Suzanne Taylor’s boyfriend, who then called 911.
Investigators initially stated that all three of the women suffered gunshot wounds, but later it emerged that Suzanne Taylor had been stabbed to death. [1]
Standoff
He was arrested
On June 12, 2017, Brinkman engaged in a standoff at a home in Brunswick, Ohio with local authorities. He had been threatening suicide while drinking whiskey and waving a handgun at police officers.
The standoff lasted more than eight hours at the home on Valley Forge Drive, located about about 100 yards east of North Carpenter Road.
Authorities were using a megaphone to negotiate with him. SWAT officers, including snipers, were surrounding the house as police tried to convince Brinkman to surrender peacefully.
Neighbors were told to stay inside their homes for their own safety.
Just before 5:30 a.m. local time, on June 13, 2017, he was taken into custody.
