Evan Dorsey was a 25 year old American convicted criminal and felon.

Allegations

Dorsey was a convicted felon with a rap sheet that spanned across six counties in central Indiana.

He was in and out of jail since 2008.

Dorsey was convicted of battery resulting in bodily injury in Montgomery County.

On March 20, 2016 he took his own life after Howard County Police Officers came to serve a warrant at his home.

Several Howard Co. sheriff's deputies went to the 300 block of W. Chandler Street around 12:30 a.m. to deliver an outstanding warrant out of Clinton County for possession of a syringe.

Dorsey did not respond when officers knocked at his door.

When the officers came in, Dorsey shot at the police officers killing one, Deputy Carl Koontz.
