Eva Schulz
Eva Schulz is a German Freelance journalist and Presenter. She loves to experiment with apps and social media to find out how to tell stories on Twitter, Snapchat and the like. Currently, she works as a reporter for the Snapchat news channel “Hochkant” (Funk) where she presents the daily news to a millenial audience.
Education
Eva studied at Zeppelin University and took up Communication, Culture, and Business. She made a thesis about obstacles to innovation within German public broadcasting stations. After a media fellowship at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina, she pursued a Master in Urban studies and traveled across Europe for two semesters.
Career
Eva worked at TV magazine Klub Konkret (EinsPlus /ARD) as a reporter and has written columns for “Jetzt.de” and “Zeit Campus”. As a Trialogue of Cultures Fellow, she spent half a year in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv. In 2009, she was listed as the youngest of the top 30 journalists under the age of 30 by “Medium Magazin”.
