Elena (Lena) Perminova is a fashion model l. She is currently managed by IMG Models.
Early Life
At 16 years old, she was arrested for selling ecstasy at a Russian club in Novosibirsk; her boyfriend 16 years her senior was asking her to deliver drugs to people frequently. When she was sentenced to 6 years in jail, her father partitioned a member of the Russian parliament to come to her aide. Not long after, Alexander Lebedev had her released from prison. She only stayed in jail for one day.
Perminova and Lebedev eventually became a couple.
With that, she eventually got the opportunity to model.
Modeling
Elena Perminova started modeling in 2006; she was 14 years old at the time.
Within 2 years, she appeared on the cover of a Russian fashion magazine and would break into the fashion world.
Philanthropy
Celebrities have given money to the charity, including Miranda Kerr and Jared Leto. Fashion brands like Dior and Louis Vuitton have donated to the cause, as well.
As of 2016, a total of 58 children's lives have been saved.

Elena Perminova is married with 3 children.
Her husband, Alexander Lebedev, is known as one of a "Russian oligarch" and owns several newspapers in London. He is 27 years her senior.
In 2008, they had their first child, Nikita.
They had a son, Egor, in 2010.
Finally, in 2014, they had a daughter, Arina; Arina's birth is notable because Elena Perminova famously went to the gym two weeks after she received a c-section and appeared on the cover of Russian Vogue 60 days later.
Perminova's older sister, who is now a make-up artist.
In her spare time, she loves to work out.
She does pilates, weight training, and pole dancing. When she's not at the gym, she enjoys Brigitte Bardot films, reading Mikhail Bulgakov novels, and tending to English cottage gardens.
She is a bookworm.
