Darrell Caldwell, better known as Drakeo The Ruler, is an American rapper based in Los Angeles, California. ^[1]

Drakeo grew up in South Central LA and has a brother who is also a rapper that goes by Ralphy the Plug. His mother teaches preschool and he never knew his father. Drakeo was first sent to prison when he was 12-years-old.

While attending Washington High School, Drakeo described himself as "bad" and was "only into getting money."

Drakeo never took rapping seriously until his friends encourage him to pursue the craft further.

He knew YG's brother who introduced him to DJ Mustard who gave him his first major break on the song "Mr. Get Dough" in 2015.

Drakeo released three acclaimed mixtapes and has been getting buzz through word of mouth, SoundCloud reposts, and YouTube.

He was charged with six counts of unlawful possession of firearms by a felon.

He sent to jail but was released in June 2017.
