A resident of the state of Iowa, she has been living in the city of Des Moines since the 1970s. [1]

Education

After high school, Jane attended Clarke University for her undergrad. She then received her Master's in Speech language pathology at University of Iowa. After nearly a decade, she completed her dissertation for her Doctor of Psychology degree. [1]

On October 12th, 2017, a video of Dr. Martino yelling "No Pomegranates!" in her classroom of her student was tweeted by @jamielasher13 who found the video from an Instagram account called, gymfailnation. The video of Dr. Martino has since gone

viral.

Dr. Jane Martino has explained that the "No Pomegranates!" rant is a way for her to explain the meaningless of the word "No".
