Donovan Okimura is a Dancer, Dance Instuctor, and Choreographer based in Los Angeles, California.

Okimura was born March 5th, 1996 and is from Murrieta, California.

^[0]He grew up training in Temecula Dance Company under the mentorship of Erik Saradpon and was a member of the dance crew "FORMALity".

^[4]After years of training under every genre of dance from Hip Hop all the way to Ballet in the competition scene, he began taking the steps necessary to becoming part of the professional industry.

Okimura's big break came in 2012 when he performed on live television for CBS "Paula Abduls: Live To Dance" and FOX TV's "MOBBED".

^[4]In 2013, he was awarded the prestigious honor of receiving the grand prize scholarship for the "SPOTLIGHT: Music Awards" as well as receiving a finalist nomination for the

MONSTER OF HIP HOP Showcase.

^[4]In 2014, Donovan graduated from High School and was immediately scouted by Clear Talent Agency (CTG).

^[4]All the while, he had been trained by a vast variety of teachers, from the Pulse Faculty (Brian Friedman, Tricia Miranda etc.), Monster of HipHop (Kevin Maher, NappyTabs, etc.) and his normal LA training (Jojo Gomez, CJ Salvador).

^[4]In January 2015, Donovan officially moved to LA, where he worked closely as an assistant for JoJo Gomez and Brinn Nicole.

^[4]In his first year, he has performed for several live shows (LA Fashion Week, Carnival, Club Jeté, Phlextravaganza) and for several music videos and projects.

^[4]Donovan since then has been a showcase choreographer for Club Jeté and has also taught joint and assisted with JoJo Gomez all around the U.S and is one of the studio mentors of Millenium Dance Complex: DENVER.

Donovan has been in a relationship with JoJo Gomez since 2017.
