Dana Hijazi was a resident of San Jose, California. ^[1] She was married to Nouri Hijazi. ^[1]

On February 27, 2017, was an occupant in the Cessna 310 Aircraft Plane Crash Riverside and one of the victims of the crash. Her husband, Nouri whom the aircraft belonged to, also died in the crash. ^[1]

Just before 5:00 p.m. local time, the Cessna 310 crashed shortly after taking off from Riverside Municipal Airport headed for San Jose, having flown about half a mile northeast. ^[1]

The aircraft crashed into two houses on Rhonda Road, near the intersection of Streeter and Central avenues.

The whole block of about 20 houses was evacuated.

Late into the evening, firefighters were still trying to put out the flames. The incident is being investigated by the National Transportation Safety Board. ^[1]
