Dan Schwerin is a long time Hillary Clinton staffer and speechwriter. He helped Clinton write the book Hard Choices. His older brother Josh Schwerin has worked on various Democratic Party politician campaigns and joined the Hillary campaign for the 2016 presidential election.
Dan Schwerin started working with Clinton in 2005. He was part of her press team during the 2008 U.S. Senate campaign. He was also part of her staff while she was in in the State Department. After she left the State Department, Clinton's paid speeches were developed by a speechwriting team led by Dan Schwerin. [1]
Dan Schwerin graduated from Philips Academy and graduated from Northwestern University. He is the son of Chuck Schwerin. [1]
In January 2017 he talked to Yale students about the 2016 presidential campaign and studies showing media coverage mostly ignored the issues.
